Medicine Place is committed to making the DR Now website clear, usable, and accessible for Alberta patients, including older adults, first-time virtual-care users, and people using assistive technologies.

1. Our accessibility goals

We design and maintain this Site with the following goals:

  • semantic headings, landmarks, and meaningful page structure;
  • keyboard-accessible navigation, menus, and FAQ controls;
  • visible focus states and descriptive link and button labels;
  • readable text sizes and strong color-contrast targets;
  • mobile tap targets of at least 44px where practical;
  • support for reduced-motion preferences for non-essential animation; and
  • meaningful alternative text for informative images.

2. Standards we aim to follow

We aim to align this Site with widely recognized web accessibility practices, including WCAG 2.2 Level AA objectives where reasonably achievable for a marketing and booking-entry website. Accessibility is an ongoing process, and we continue to improve as content and features evolve.

3. Booking and third-party tools

Secure booking and virtual visits are completed through Medeo. The accessibility of third-party booking or visit interfaces is controlled by those providers. If you need help booking, contact us and we will try to assist through available clinic support channels.

4. Known limitations

Some visual materials, third-party embeds, or externally hosted booking screens may not meet the same accessibility standard as the core DR Now pages. If a barrier prevents you from completing an important task, please contact us so we can help.

  • a description of the issue;
